Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") explains the activities that are permitted and prohibited when using LEADUS, a software platform operated by LEADUS — Sole Proprietorship / Individual Founder ("LEADUS", "we", "us").

This Policy forms part of the LEADUS Terms of Service. By using LEADUS, you agree to comply with this Policy.

1. Purpose

LEADUS is designed to help freelancers, agencies, entrepreneurs, sales professionals, and businesses discover potential business opportunities, organise leads, evaluate business information, and conduct lawful business outreach.

You are responsible for using LEADUS responsibly, legally, and respectfully.

2. Permitted use

You may use LEADUS for legitimate purposes including:

• Finding potential business clients.
• Conducting lawful sales and marketing research.
• Discovering businesses that may benefit from your products or services.
• Organising and managing business leads.
• Reviewing publicly available business information.
• Creating personalised business outreach.
• Managing your own sales pipeline.
• Conducting legitimate market research.
• Improving your business development and customer-acquisition activities.

3. Prohibited activities

You must not use LEADUS to:

• Commit fraud, scams, phishing, or identity theft.
• Impersonate another person, company, government organisation, financial institution, or LEADUS.
• Make false, deceptive, or misleading statements.
• Harass, threaten, intimidate, extort, or abuse individuals or businesses.
• Send malicious software, harmful links, or credential-stealing content.
• Conduct unlawful spam or mass unsolicited messaging.
• Circumvent communication-platform restrictions, account limits, security controls, or rate limits.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to LEADUS or another user's account.
• Probe, scan, attack, or exploit LEADUS systems or infrastructure.
• Interfere with the normal operation of LEADUS.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of LEADUS except where expressly permitted by applicable law.
• Use automated systems to abuse, overload, or disrupt LEADUS.
• Collect or process personal information unlawfully.
• Scrape, collect, copy, or use information in violation of applicable law or the terms of the relevant third-party service.
• Use LEADUS for money laundering, financing illegal activity, or facilitating criminal activity.
• Use LEADUS to discriminate unlawfully against individuals or businesses.
• Upload or distribute content that infringes another person's intellectual property or other legal rights.
• Use LEADUS to harm, disrupt, manipulate, or interfere with another business, person, service, or platform.

4. Outreach requirements

If you use LEADUS to contact businesses or individuals, you must:

• Clearly identify yourself and your business where appropriate.
• Accurately describe the products or services you offer.
• Avoid deceptive subject lines, messages, offers, or claims.
• Send relevant and reasonably targeted communications.
• Respect requests to stop receiving communications.
• Follow applicable advertising, privacy, electronic communications, and anti-spam laws.
• Follow the rules of the communication platform you are using.

5. No spam or abusive outreach

LEADUS does not authorise users to send unlimited unsolicited messages.

The availability of an outreach feature does not mean that every possible use of that feature is lawful or permitted.

Users must not use LEADUS to conduct high-volume, repetitive, irrelevant, deceptive, or abusive outreach.

We may restrict accounts that generate excessive complaints, abuse reports, delivery failures, or other signals of misuse.

6. Business and public information

LEADUS may provide access to publicly available business information or information obtained through authorised third-party services.

Users must:

• Use business information only for lawful purposes.
• Respect applicable privacy and data-protection requirements.
• Avoid attempting to obtain private or restricted information.
• Not misrepresent the source or accuracy of business information.
• Independently verify important information before relying on it.

7. Third-party platforms

When using LEADUS with third-party services such as WhatsApp, email providers, mapping services, payment providers, or other platforms, you must comply with the applicable rules and terms of those services.

LEADUS does not override or replace the policies of third-party platforms.

A feature being technically available through LEADUS does not guarantee that a particular activity is permitted by the relevant third-party service.

8. Account security

You must not:

• Share your password or authentication credentials improperly.
• Access another user's account.
• Attempt to bypass authentication or security controls.
• Use another person's identity to create or operate an account.
• Allow unauthorised individuals to use your account.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless the activity resulted from circumstances outside your reasonable control.

9. Content requirements

Content submitted, stored, or transmitted through LEADUS must not:

• Be unlawful.
• Contain malware or malicious code.
• Facilitate fraud or criminal activity.
• Infringe intellectual property rights.
• Contain threats or harassment.
• Deliberately mislead recipients.
• Expose confidential information without authorisation.

10. Enforcement

LEADUS may investigate suspected violations of this Policy.

Depending on the circumstances, we may:

• Issue a warning.
• Restrict specific features.
• Limit account activity.
• Temporarily suspend an account.
• Permanently terminate an account.
• Remove prohibited content where reasonably necessary.
• Preserve or disclose information where required by law.

We may take immediate action when reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties, LEADUS systems, or to comply with legal obligations.

11. Reporting abuse

If you believe another user is abusing LEADUS, conducting fraudulent activity, sending harmful outreach, or creating a security risk, you can report the issue to:

Please provide enough information for us to understand and investigate the reported activity.

12. No guarantee of enforcement

Although we may take action against violations, LEADUS does not guarantee that every violation will be detected or prevented.

Users remain responsible for their own conduct and compliance with applicable laws.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time.

Material changes may be communicated through LEADUS or other appropriate channels.

Your continued use of LEADUS after an updated Policy becomes effective means you agree to the updated Policy.
